The Caritas Baby Hospital “Band of Smile” is the first clown doctor group in Palestine. It was founded in 2007 with support from an Italian clown group known as “La Banda Del Sorriso”.
The “Band of Smile” consists of eight paramedical staff from Caritas Baby Hospital who perform clown therapy with sick children at CBH and elderly persons living in nursing homes.
“The Band of Smile aims to improve and inspire the wellness of sick children and elderly by lifting their moods with the positive power of hope and humor.”
