Upon a service procurement agreement with the UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), CBH provides refugee children with medical treatment at the Hospital.
To guarantee quality assurance, we are part of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) “Patient Safety Friendly Hospital Initiative”. The latter aims at assisting hospitals and medical institutions to launch a comprehensive patient safety program.
In addition, we are currently applying for the Baby-friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) that was launched by the WHO and UNICEF in 1991, and is implemented through the Palestinian MoH.
Our hospital’s CF team is part of the Middle East Cystic Fibrosis Association (MECFA) and takes part in its educational and medical activities.
On a clinical level, we finalized a partnership with the Pediatric University Hospital of Tübingen. This allows for the improvement of the neurological diagnosis and treatment of patients in the CBH and for the further development of its neuropediatric department.
On another level, we signed in 2019 an agreement with the Gemelli University Hospital (GUH) in Rome on providing medical training for CBH doctors and nurses on the ICU services.
