On an operational level, Caritas Baby Hospital is very much embedded in the Palestinian context and offers interesting career prospects to young Palestinians to work and thrive in their homeland. We offer good working conditions and fair salaries and provide regular continuous education activities for the local medical and paramedical staff. In addition, we contribute to the local economy substantially; medication, food and commodities are locally purchased whenever possible.
Our work contributes to the sustainable improvement of the living standards of children and youth, as well as their families, in the health and social spheres. We cooperate closely with the Palestinian Ministry of Health (MoH) and maintain strong ties with other hospitals in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
While it was founded as a pure charity, today, CBH plays an important role in the Palestinian healthcare system and sets standards for the medical services offered in the West Bank.
