The Center for Continuous Education of Caritas Baby Hospital organized a Workshop on Tracheostomy Management on Monday, 17 February 2020.
The aim of the Pediatric Tracheostomy Care training was to provide the nursing staff with a unique set of clinical skills that will allow them to perform effective & efficient care for acute and chronically tracheostomized patients.
Dr. Nisreen Rumman, the hospital’s Pediatric Pulmonologist, and Ms. Sahar Khalilieh, our Medical Speech-Language Pathologist, provided lectures, case studies and hands-on training on how to perform adequate tracheostomy tube management both to doctors and nurses.
