The event also included social and entertainment activities to enhance the wellbeing of children and strengthen the relationships among the affected families.
About this activity, Rawan, a mother of a diabetic daughter says: "We have benefited on a medical level, but more importantly, we feel empowered as a result of being in this support group. We are not alone against this disease!”
On CBH side, Lina Rahil, manager of the Social Services Department, said: "We look forward to remain close to the needs of our sick children and their families. It is important that we hear their voice and be able to communicate it."
At the end of the meeting, the participants signed an appeal, which the hospital undertook to submit to the Palestinian Minister of Health.
