Issa Bandak
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bandak obtained his Master’s degree in Health Systems Administration from Georgetown University in Washington DC. He has been the CEO for Caritas Baby Hospital since May 2011. Previously, he was Hospital Development Officer in the largest healthcare project in Palestine. Before becoming a healthcare professional, Mr. Bandak, who holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) worked in project management, academia, capacity building and consulting. Mr. Bandak is married and father of three children.
Dr. Allawi finished his Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from Al-Quds University and he is certified by the Palestinian Pediatrician Board since 2016.
In 2019, Dr. Allawi finished his subspecialty in pediatric pulmonology from Hadassah Medical Center and became responsible for the pediatric pulmonary services and the intensive care unit in Caritas Baby Hospital.
On a personal level, Dr. Allawi is a great supporter of sick children and their families. He also accompanies medical students and residents doctors during their training in CBH.
Mrs. Saca’s experience includes financial management, corporate reporting, financial analysis, strategic planning and consultancy. She was a financial expert before joining Caritas Baby Hospital as its Director of Finance in 2016. Mrs. Saca is a New Jersey (NJ) Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Rutgers University.
Mrs. Hazboun Saca is married with three children.
Mr. Araj received his Master of Biomedical Engineering in 1994 from Fachhochschule Lübeck, in Germany. He joined Caritas Baby Hospital in 2004 as Head of Technical Services and became Director of Operations in 2015.
He is responsible for all the support services in the Hospital ranging from security and transportation services to the complex IT and biomedical engineering interventions.
Mr. Araj is married with four children.
Mrs. Qumsieh has over 32 years of experience in the pediatric nursing and management with a master degree in Nursing Management. She has been appointed as the new nursing director of Caritas Baby Hospital in January of 2021 after assuming the position of nursing manager for one of the Inpatient Pediatric Wards for 14 years.
She is married with 2 sons and one daughter.
