Caritas Baby Hospital is a major employer in the Bethlehem area, with 250 registered employees: the majority reside in the Bethlehem governorate and nearly 70% are women.
On an operational level, CBH is managed by a local Executive Committee (EC). The Chief Executive Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Operating Officer are Palestinian.
To closely respond to local needs, the Executive Committee is supported by a local Hospital Advisory Council (HAC) whose mandate is to serve as a vital link between the hospital and the local community.
